Paul is the Regional Manager for Great Places responsible for Oldham and Rochdale.








Robert Porter -New Charter Housing Trust (Aksa Homes)

Robert is the Interim Director of Communities at New Charter, he is responsible for the day to day housing management operations across New Charters 19,000 properties. He also leads on the Groups neighbourhood regeneration and customer involvement strategies. The role involves supporting the management of a turnover of £100m and leading a dispersed staff team in excess of 400.

Robert has over 30 years' experience of working within the housing, economic and community regeneration arena he is a strong collaborator, building dynamic and innovative partnerships and creating legacies for communities and individuals. 

Chris Langan - Contour Homes

Photo of Chris LanganChris originally joined the Board in 2010.  He has worked for Contour Homes, part of Symphony Housing Group, for several years and is currently Director of Customer Services.  The key responsibilities in the role includes strategic management of customer contact, revenue services and independent living services as well as overall operational responsibility for two regions.  

Chris has worked in and around the Oldham area for over 20 years and is based at Contour Homes' main office in Manchester   


Dave Smith - First Choice Homes Oldham

Dave has worked for First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) since 2003, in January 2012 he became the FCHO Customer First Director.  His responsibilities include leading many of FCHOs customer focused services, including the One Point Housing Options Service, customer contact centre, customer involvement and grants team, supported housing services, legal and homeownership teams.

 

His previous roles witihn FCHO gave him experience in finance, business planning, procurement, HR, learning and development, policy and business improvement, marketing, communications, IT, homelessness, temporary accommodation and supported housing.  He was a key member of the leadership team that has overseen the transfer from council housing to Arms Length Management Organisation and more recently to a registered provider. 

Prior to working at FCHO Dave worked in Rochdale and across a variety of London Boroughs in housing management and regeneration roles. 

Sue Stott Vice Chair - The Guinness Partnership

Sue is the Operations Manager for the Lancashire Area of Guinness, based at the Area Office in Heywood and is responsible for leading on the management of 13,500 homes across 9 Local Authority Areas.  Over 1,000 of these properties are located in Oldham.  The Guinness Partnership are one of the largest affordable housing and care providers in the country, managing 60,000 homes across England. 

Sue has worked in various roles at Guinness for over 35 years and has a wide and varied experience of working in many aspects including neighbourhoods and operational management, with a particular specialism in allocations. 

                                                                                            
                                                 
 John Rooney - Oldham Council

John is Head of Housing and Response Services and Districts at Oldham Council.  Originally a Town Planner, John has a varied experience of regeneration, community consultation, community safety, neighbourhood management as well as housing. He is in his second period working for the Council, having also been employed by Salford City Council and Greater Manchester Police Authority. John currently chairs the Greater Manchester Housing Officers Group.

Bridget Guilfoyle - Housing & Care 21

Bridget is the Oldham PFI Director at Housing & Care 21 looking after the sheltered housing Private Finance Initiative project in Oldham.
She is responsible for the day to day management of the improvement programme to 1400 homes, for older people , dispersed across the borough.

Bridget has more than 20 year's experience of working within the housing and regeneration sector and has held key roles in Housing Associations and Local Authorities implementing large scale housing projects
Places for People Bill Lovat - Regenda Homes

Photo of Bill LovatBill has been the Regional Director for Customer Services at Regenda Homes since May 2011.  In his role he is responsible for developing and delivering neighbourhood strategies for Greater Manchester and Cheshire.  The key priorities in the role include managing the delivery of housing services, tenancy support, neighbourhood regeneration and providing services to residents in sheltered housing. 

Before joining Regenda Homes Bill spent seven years at Blackburn with Darwen Council where he managed the Lifelong Learning and Youth Services, helped to establish a Children's Services Department and worked with the town's Culture, Leisure and Sports Services.  Prior to that he worked in Community Education and Development, particularly in Bolton.

Diane Wild - Partnership Manager 

Photo of Diane Wild Diane has worked at OHIP since November 2010.  She started in career at Manchester City Council as an Environmental Health Officer specialising in private sector housing.  Diane has over 30 years experience of working in Metropolitan and City Council both in Greater Manchester and Merseyside delivering and managing both public sector and private sector housing functions.  Diane has a wealth of knowledge and experience of delivering schemes, area regeneration, community engagement, partnership working as well as managing a strategic housing services.
